Palazzo sul Mare

Palazzo sul Mare occupies one of the most dramatic positions on the Amalfi Coast — a sheer cliff-side location above Positano with 180-degree sea views that take in the Faraglioni of Capri on a clear day. The palazzo has been in the same family for three generations and is now offered for the first time.

The architecture is a pure expression of Amalfi vernacular: whitewashed vaulted ceilings, hand-painted Vietri ceramic floors, and a succession of terraces that cascade down toward the sea. The main reception rooms are on the upper level to maximise the views, with the eight bedroom suites distributed across three floors connected by a private lift.

The private boat dock — a rarity on this coastline — provides direct sea access and the ability to moor a vessel up to 12 metres. A second terrace at water level serves as a lido with sun loungers and a plunge pool fed by a natural spring.
