Hilltop villa near Todi
Todi, Umbria
Set on the crest of a hill overlooking Todi, this newly built villa sits in the green heart of Umbria, wrapped in olive groves and vineyards with rolling hills stretching to the horizon. Traditional architecture, exposed stone walls and wooden beams, meets a contemporary hand, with floor to ceiling windows that fill the rooms with light and open the interiors to the landscape. The result is a house that feels both deeply rooted and quietly modern.
The villa sleeps up to twelve across four independent apartments, each with its own kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and living space, and each with floor heating, air conditioning and a private balcony or terrace. Guests can take the whole villa for a large family or a group of friends, or settle into a single apartment, from the intimate Studio Trevi for two to the two-bedroom Apartment Todi and Apartment Assisi that sleep four apiece.
At the heart of the house is the Greenhouse, a large communal space with sliding glass doors on both sides that open wide to panoramic views over the hills, olive groves and vineyards. A long wooden dining table and soft armchairs make it a natural gathering place, with a fireplace for cooler evenings, air conditioning for warm ones and a wine fridge always ready. On mild days the doors slide away and inside and outside become one.
