Italy asks things of a house, a kitchen, a drone and a post that no other country asks in the same way. The desk checks them once. The room sees a badge with a date, never the document.

Wouter or Chiara reads it and says yes, or says why not. A refusal always carries the reason.

The room sees a badge
"Checked by the desk" and the date, on your card and your page. Before the end date, the portal reminds you.
For
A house
- The CIN
- Every advertisement of a house shows its national code, also on the sites that publish it (art. 13-ter D.L. 145/2023). It appears on the house's page once the desk has checked it.
- Gas and carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguishers
- The same law asks for them in every house let to guests.
- Guests registered, the tourist tax paid
- Guests are registered with the police within 24 hours (Alloggiati Web); the tax is paid where the house is.
- A wedding that is legal
- A civil ceremony is valid in a private house only where the comune designated it. The owner says on the house's event card which it is; ask before you promise a civil one.
For
A chef
- Food-hygiene training
- A paid chef handles food as a business does (Reg. (EC) 852/2004); the certificate is checked and its date watched.
- Allergens in writing
- Every menu names the fourteen allergens it contains (art. 19 D.Lgs. 231/2017). A party's allergies reach the chef only with the guests' consent.

A drone
- Registration, certificate, insurance
- An operator registered on d-flight, a pilot with the A1/A3 or A2 certificate, third-party insurance (ENAC). And the owner's yes on the house.

A post
- The words a post carries
- A paid post starts with ADV; a stay without a fee says invitato da (AGCOM guidelines 2025). The brief writes the words before the stay.

- UNI 11954, if you hold it
- Italy's standard for wedding planners, with a public register of the certified. Optional, and shown when checked.

Everyone who is paid
- How you invoice
- With a P.IVA, on the flat-rate regime, as occasional work, or from abroad. The desk keeps what an Italian e-invoice and the yearly statement EU platform rules ask for (DAC7) need, and nobody else sees it.
- Insurance for the work
- Professional liability, checked once and watched for its end date.
What it is not
A check, not legal advice
The desk checks that a document exists and is in date. What your own tax regime asks of you is a question for your commercialista.
